FAQ

  • Do you offer a free trial session? If so, what is included?
We would love to send one of our MiniJam education musicians along to run a session with your little ones. This really is the best way to understand what is involved in our sessions. As a trial we offer 30 mins free tuition featuring singing with live accompaniment, percussion instruments for all children, a song to bespoke MiniJam tracks, and a live instrument demonstration from our professional musician which will usually go hand in hand with a musical game / activity. We also encourage at least one song with movement / actions to get little ones on their feet. Our free trials are suitable for up to 20 children max.

Members of the MiniJam team can not be held responsible for misuse of our equipment, particularly as many of the instruments used are not suitable for unsupervised play for under 3s. It's also really fun to join in which is an added bonus. We would like to make MiniJam a fun & rewarding experience for big people and little people alike!
  • Physical Contact

  • Behavioural issues within a MiniJam class
MiniJam will always do our upmost to support children working through behavioural quirks / issues. If a little one is going through a challenging "phase", we kindly request that a staff member remain close to them during the MiniJam session in order to ensure the safety and enjoyment of other participants and so our musicians can focus on the group as a whole. Staff should feel comfortable to remove a child from the class temporarily to recompose themselves when it feels necessary and rejoin the group when the child feels back on track and ready to participate again.
  • Equipment Hygiene
MiniJam always carry sanitising spray (safe to ingest) and can encourage use of these before instruments are tidied away, particularly if any children have been putting them in their mouths or if there is a bug circulating that the nursery is trying to keep at bay. All our equipment is then anti-bac sprayed at the end of the nursery sessions. It is also deep cleaned bi-termly.
